Mila Kunis Confident ‘Jupiter Ascending’ Will Be ‘Really Great’
Here’s what we know about the Wachowski’s next rumored game changer “Jupiter Ascending”: it stars Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum. We think we know that Joseph Gordon-Levitt might also sign on, and according to unconfirmed reports, the film takes place in a not-too-distant future in which a bounty hunter (Tatum) is hired by the powers that be to do away with a Russian immigrant (Kunis) because she possesses the same genetic makeup as the Queen of the universe and thereby threatens the royal highness’ longevity.
So what can Kunis add to that lack of detailed information? When MTV News caught up with the actress at the press day for “Ted,” we attempted to gain a little more insight into her role. Her answer was basically a shrug and a smile.
“Are you kidding? I would get in so much trouble,” Kunis said, defending her mum’s-the-word answer. “Do you want Warner Brothers to come after me? I would get in so much trouble.”
We admitted that no, we don?t want her to get in trouble, just that it would be nice to have little more information about how awesome the movie will be.
“It’s going to be awesome!” she said. “I really can’t say anything, but I think it’s going to be awesome. I think it?s going to be really great. I say this, we are far away from shooting.?
So can she confirm the reports regarding the possible involvement of Gordon-Levitt?
“No. I really can’t because I don’t know,” she said. “Channing, yes. Channing and I are in the movie, Channing is awesome. I think we’ll have a really good time but we don’t start production until next year.”
